How It Works
The process begins with a thorough cleaning and polishing of your piece to remove any dirt, oils, or surface imperfections. Once clean, the jewelry is submerged in a rhodium solution and electroplated with a thin, durable layer of rhodium—a rare and highly reflective metal from the platinum family. This not only improves the brightness and beauty of the piece but also adds a layer of protection against tarnish and everyday wear.
For best results, we recommend rhodium plating every 12 to 18 months, depending on how often the piece is worn. Rings, especially engagement and wedding bands, may need more frequent touch-ups due to regular contact with surfaces. Our team can assess your jewelry on-site and let you know when it’s time for a refresh.
